Pilgrimage Workshop-2.jpg

Do you like to travel?  Have you ever thought of using your travels (for business and/or pleasure) as a form of spiritual practice?  A “pilgrimage” approach to travel has been around for centuries.  Join us to explore how God can use your travel to deepen your relationship with Him.

the Joy of Silence.jpg

For centuries those desiring a closer relationship with God have spent times with Him in silence. In Psalm 46 we are encouraged to “be still,” yet this is very challenging in today’s busy world.  During this weekend retreat, we will explore the role of silence in our spiritual journey and the joy that can result from extended time with our Savior.

Seeking Stillness retreats are typically not silent retreats.  However, we will spend all day Saturday of this weekend in silence, with structured support tools.  This is a retreat tailored to the needs of those who have practiced stillness in the past – either individually or through other retreat experiences.

This retreat will be led by members of the Seeking Stillness leadership team, including Amy McElwain, Latoya Ellington, Cindy Rios and Corrie Purdum.

The registration fee includes lodging in a private room (shared bathroom) and meals all day Saturday and Sunday morning.  Massages are available during the weekend on a first-come-first-serve basis (indicate your interest on the registration form) at an additional fee.

Registration for 2024 Retreats/Events will open approximately 6-8 weeks before the scheduled date.  Please mark your calendars for all 2024 dates and watch your email for registration opportunities.  If you are not on our email list, please feel free to sign up to receive information below.

Individuals will be officially registered for a retreat (and massage if applicable) or other event on the day when their registration has been received in full. Registrations will be processed in the order received until all slots in the retreat/event have been filled. Generally, a maximum number of registrations will be set for each retreat/event and a final date for registration will be established and communicated. Individuals whose registrations are received after all slots have been filled will be put on a waiting list and notified accordingly.

Every attempt will be made to accommodate those who need to cancel. If cancellations occur before the registration deadline (two weeks before the event) the person who needs to cancel will have the choice of transferring their registration to an upcoming retreat/event or be refunded their payment minus a $10 processing fee. After the registration deadline (within two weeks of the event) refunds/transfer to another retreat /event will only be available if there is a waiting list for the retreat/event. Refunds of paid massages will not be available within the last two weeks before a retreat either unless there is a massage waiting list.
